Q:
Why does my green tea taste bitter?
A:
There could be a number of reasons for this.
The most common reason is because people infuse their green tea for
too long, often more than 2 mins. It is best to infuse your
tea between 1-2 mins. The other possible reasons are water
temperature, quality of green tea etc. For more information,

Q:
Can strong tea upset your stomach?
A:
It is possible. Tea can stimulate the
stomach and encourage the secretion of the gastric juices required
for digestion. However, it will not damage the stomach.
Since tea contains tannin and caffeine, strong tea may overstimulate
the stomach and cause stomach upset. Especially for people
with weak stomachs, they are advised not to drink tea when they are
hungry.
Q:
Is tea good for hangovers?
A:
Yes. Tea has been used as a traditional
antidote for hangovers in China many years ago. The caffeine
level contains in tea helps settling the mind and assist the body
recovering from fatigue. It is best to drink at least 2-3 cups
of tea for hangovers.
Q:
How should tea be stored?
A:
The freshness of tea can safely be prolonged
for a considerable time by putting it in your refrigerator or
freezer before opening the package. After opening the package,
do not put it back in the refrigerator or freezer. The tea
will remain fresh for another 2 to 3 months by placing the package
in a tightly sealed container, away from direct sunlight, heat and
moisture.
